We have used Hygge & West’s Petal Pusher wallpaper in gold on a few projects and are smitten. The soft floral pattern fills the space with a super chic feel and the metallic gold takes it to the next level. Our client’s were going for girly chic spaces, so this modern take on a floral was the perfect fit to pull the rooms together. Being bold with wallpaper can be easily achieved without going overboard. Just keep the pattern simple, tonal and go for it!

This small powder bathroom was dark and since it is built in under the stair case, it had a cavelike feeling that was not chic at all. So we covered all of the walls with the gold Petal Pusher paper to brighting it up. I love the bold pattern in this small space, it really did create the wow factor that our client was after while bringing the chic look that she wanted too.  The glitzy light fixtures bounced the perfect amount of light off of the metallic paper as well.

The Bella Lash Studio here in Uptown Dallas is located in a old house that was loaded with charm. But, it was lacking in the girly chic department so we brought in the Gold Petal Pushers paper to make the best of the unique ceiling and walls in the space. We used the pattern as an accent wall in the main lobby, it was the perfect way to greet clients as they entered the space. The soft floral pattern paired well with the other graphic patterns and soft pink & turquoise accents.

We carried the floral pattern into the treatment rooms and I love how taking it all the way across the angled ceiling opened up the dark space. Again, the glitzy lighting draws attention to the metallic finish on the wallpaper and opens up the space to create a soothing treatment room for their clients as well as a fabulous place to work all day!

The past few years have been a little rough and my personal life has been full of challenges. The Studio has been a saving grace through of the hard times, but burn out sets in quickly when you just don’t stop. So, I decided that a  quick little vacay was in order! A little get away is great way to shake off stress and relax, especially when there is a Spa involved.  We found The Sanctuary Spa in Scottsdale, AZ and it was pure Heaven!!! Amazing food, a gorgeous pool and multiple spa treatments were just what I needed to relax for a few days.

The grounds were absolutely gorgeous, the food was spectacular and the spa…well…I can’t say enough about that!!! Here are a few shots from our stay at The Sanctuary Resort. If your looking for a luxury get away to shake it all off, this is your place !!

I love the images showing how an outfit translates to a particular room style, I we are playing around with that a bit today.  Jewel tones, brass and updated polka dots are all over the spring runway so we thought it would be fun to pair them with our favorite pieces.  Now you can love the look when you go out and keep your home looking chic too.  You can shop all of the pieces from our Spring Look Book by clicking on the images below.

The latest issue of OUTDOOR ROOMS is on newsstands now and we are thrilled to have one of our projects featured.  Designing outdoor spaces to be cohesive with the interiors is always a fun challenge and this space was no different. Creating multiple seating areas that felt cozy was the number one goal in the space. We used outdoor drapes to soften the structural columns, grass green outdoor shag rugs and bold floral pillows to bring a pop of color to the space. My favorite addition, the custom outdoor mobile that the client brought with them. It brought in so much color and the movement the mobile provides is soothing.  A big Thank You to Melanie Johnson for the gorgeous images!!!
