We have been working on a super cool children’s boutique here in Dallas and I can’t wait to show off more details. Our client had this fabulous pink velvet bench that worked perfectly in another space. But, it also was the perfect piece for the new dressing room at Little Hipsters Boutique!! So, we found a fun bold tropical print and had the bench upholstered to work with the new space.

Here are the BEFORE & AFTER pictures of the bench. I love the large scale Jardin print and bold color palette, it is going to be fab in the boutique’s dressing room!

Yes, I said Glamazon!! We have launched the new look at Shop Ten 25 and I am so in love with all of the new pieces. This pink agate Glamazon Lamp was actually an idea we had for a Studio Ten 25 project that didn’t work out, so when the right project came along we jumped!

We used two of these gorgeous acrylic pieces in Lash Maxx’s new studio space and they were the perfect pop of pink! We mixed things up and selected a black shade to tie in with the overall black and white basics of the space.

Acrylic base, large pink agate with gold leafed edges and a whole lotta glam!!!   You can snag your Glamazon Lamp HERE!!

Accessorizing is one of the last items on my to-do list when finishing up a project. I love using books, tray and pillows to help pull a space together. Today, I wanted to share a few of my go to tips for using accessories to pull it all together using pillows. Pillows are the perfect way to bring in color, pattern and texture!

Finding a great desk that fits in perfectly with your home has become easier these days. Gone are the days of the standard glass and metal office supply options, three cheers for that! Today there are many options for desks that are chic as well as functional. I love this white lacquer desk and the fact that it would be the perfect addition to any home office.  I also love using desks like this as side tables in a bedroom, they can easily transition from nightstand to works space.

You can shop the Reese desk HERE and if your looking for options…this is your go to!

We have been so fortunate to have so many wonderful projects in the works this year. Between installations and photo shoots, this summer has flown by and we are looking forward to wrapping up a few more great homes.  I’m not as consistent with TheBlog as I have been in the past, I have only wanted to post things that make me happy and really stay true to what Studio Ten 25 is all about.

Our online boutique, Shop Ten 25 is in the process of being updated with new features and I love being able to include so many of the gorgeous pieces in our Studio projects. Today, I wanted to share a few images from our recent project installations. I love showing off the progress of a project, I get pretty giddy when pieces are delivered and the room starts to come together.

Here are a few of our favorites from the past few months, we also share them on our Instagram account. So if your feeling social and want to see what we are up to on a daily basis, that is the best place to see us in action!

This pretty patio in today’s Get The Look has the most charming porch swing loaded with a mix of outdoor fabrics in great textures.   It’s the perfect place to work from home, read a book or just enjoy the view.  And having a patio that is mostly protected from the elements allowed us to bring in pillows and accessories to really make this outdoor space have the comforts of an indoor living room.

The New Rooms Magazine is finally out on newsstands and I am so excited to finally share the details.  Our turquoise and orange family home is featured in the issue and I love how they choose to layout the feature.  Overall room shots, vignette details and a fabulous inspiration board are all packed into the feature.  A big thank you to Melanie Johnson Photography and Hilary Walker for helping me pull the home together for the shoot! I’m beyond excited, I pretty much cleaned out the Alberstson’s by our home.

You can find ROOMS at your local grocery store or book store! The issue is not playing around either, it is full of gorgeous project features and I love how they added inspiration board to each project too. They made it easy to be inspired and source all of the lovely pieces featured too!

We started working on this high rise bachelor pad this past spring and it was in serious need of an update. First, we needed furniture that actually functioned for him.  We needed the space to set the tone for the blue & grey color palette that we were using.  We recently photographed this space and I can not wait to show it off!

BEFORE: The entry felt stark and the wonderful high ceilings were not being played up.  Everything felt short and didn’t really give off a fun bachelor pad vibe.

AFTER: A custom navy lacquered parsons console was the first piece we selected and everything just came together from there. Killer acrylic lamps with a blue accent, bold gold mirror and an bench to soften the space really helped to create a space that works here. The mirror draws you eye up and plays off of the high ceilings while bringing in some much needed texture.

He needed a place to crash while watching T.V. that allowed him to get the most out of the awkward space. So instead of trying to place rectangular pieces in this round room, we worked with the curves of the space and selected a sectional with a curved center!

BEFORE: This room has amazing views of the Dallas Design Center as well as North Dallas so we needed to completely change the configuration to show off that view! The dark and muddy color palette was also doing nothing for the space. It felt dark and completely wrong for our bachelor.

AFTER: Open, airy and completely masculine!  Neutral and durable fabric gave us the start we needed to bring in the blue, grey and brown accents that carry through the entire space. Now you can actually enjoy sitting in this space while taking in the view.

I have loved this bold room from Dallas designer Tracy Hardenburg from the moment I spotted it. The bold colors, cool lighting and super chic graphic details grab your attention immediately. I also love the fact that she pulled in a classic garden stool instead of using a regular table next to the daybed. Garden stool are one of my favorite  accessories because they are so versatile and can be used inside and out!  You can find this linked in stool and plenty of other design and color options at SHOP TEN 25!!
