Wednesday Work Space
Wednesday calls for a dapper workspace, don’t cha think? I appreciate that men ask for a space to function before we address the ” fabulous” part of the design process. Ladies usually start with how they want the space to look, so we work backwards with the guys. We always find a way to pull in the fabulous, and the end result is a great room that functions and looks fabulous too! This home office was once a screened in porch, but the space was not being used. A small construction project became the resolution in the end, and with all of the floor to ceiling windows this room are perfect.
And since we had so much natural light in the room, we were able to bring in the warmer tones that he wanted in the space. We started with the graphic Beaton Brown rug from STARK and incorporated a glass top desk that would keep the small space from feeling too cramped. Two barrel backed accent chairs upholstered in an faux ostrich leather, brass accents and a bold pop of color with the art created the perfect workspace for him.
