My love for the gorgeous Pyar & Co pillows isn’t much of a secret. I am obsessed with the amount of detail, design and love that goes into making each pillow. And after I met the beyond talented Paula Queen who is the owner and designer of the line, I knew that was the beginning of a friendship and of course a strong working relationship.
I have carried these glitzy fluffy pillows in The Shop since last fall and am looking forward to expanding the offering after the new collection hits the streets. Pyar & Co’s blog recently launched the first of it’s MARKET PLACE columns and I am so honored to be included it it! They pulled together a great round-up of pieces from Shop Ten 25 and asked me to share a little bit of design advice too! Think Luxe on a budget. I love bold bold colors, especially when they are mixed with gorgeous textures and graphic patterns! Today I thought it would be fun to go towards an exotic influence and show off a few of my favorite bold pieces from The Shop. This look can be bold or go a little more towards the reserved and toned town side too. Do you love the bold look? Or are you more attracted to the subtle side?

I love finding new artist and when they are as passionate about their work as I am about The Shop, it is a perfect match. Finding unique and special pieces for The Shop is always a priority for me. So when our latest addition, Laura Dro and her stunning art pieces showed up in my in-box I couldn’t say YES fast enough. One look at her bold and colorful pieces and you can’t help but become filled with inspiration! Her pieces are even set to make their BIG debut this coming fall with The Land Of Nod! This collection includes prints in bold Ikats, whispy florals and gorgeous peacock feather interpretations.
It’s easy to see how Laura’s pieces can finish off any entry, brighten up a chic living room or rock a gallery wall up any staircase! We are thrilled to welcome her and can’t wait to see what you all think of her pieces. Head on over to her designer section of The Shop and take it all in…they will knock your socks off!

I realize I’ve been a little heavy on the hide and distressing, bold hues and eclectic pieces recently, so today’s Get the Look is for all you traditional Francophile’s out there! Slender lines, delicate ornamentation, a few French influences, and some shiny surfaces are all you need to bring this look home!

As a designer, I am always in search of inspiration. Most of the time, it just happens and when it sneaks up on you, it is a wonderful thing! Recently I became obsessed with the gorgeous pillow collection from Pyar & Co, so obsessed that the pieces are now available in The Shop! I about fell out of my chair when I saw the inspiration for my favorite pillows from the collection, Mui Mui shoes! I love this design so much that I added the fuchsia version to our design studio! I love seeing where great ideas come from and am feeling incredibly inspired today! I don’t usually post on Sundays but I wanted to share one of my favorite new pillows that were just added to The Shop! We have added gorgeous new pillows from Pyar & Co and I could not wait to share a few pieces from the line! One of these beauties will most likely end up in The Studio’s newly designed space!!! We are waiting patiently for our order to arrive!
I think the Lantana is one of my favorites! Gorgeous hand beading and velvet, it doesn’t get any more chic that this!!
