I have been a fan of La Dolce Vita’s Dream Home series for a long time and am excited to share mine today. I’m a southern girl born and raised in Arkansas and now live in Dallas, Texas with my husband and two bird dogs. I am a girly girl all the way when it comes to interiors, but after being married to Dru (golfer, hunter and fire pit junkie) for almost 4 years my idea of a “dream home” have changed a bit.

I love love love the moment when HGTV finally has it’s annual Dream Home Show!  This year the house is located in Stowe,Vermont and comes with a new SUV, $500,000 and all of the goodies inside!  I always enter but wonder what I would do if I actually won. Winning the amazing home and all of the packaged goodies would be fabulous, But how do you pay for it all. Seriously, the taxes alone must be killer! Oh well, I guess that’s a good problem to have!

Key words like entertaining, alpine and skiing alone get me interested in this house. The home sleeps 14 and I can see the Stanton/Fenimore clan spending Christmas in Vermont for many years to come! Here are a few of my favorite images from the Dream Home!
