I have loved taking the week off to spend time with family, friends and to catch up on a few loose ends around The Studio. I have also taken this week to look back on a few of my favorite projects, blog posts and of course prepare for a fabulous 2013! I have been fortunate to have met and “worked” with so many driven, successful and motivational people in this industry.  There is nothing more rewarding that inspiration and unconditional support, especially in this competitive industry.

Tobi Fairley has been one of those people and I can say THANK YOU enough to her and the great team she surrounds herself with.  This past Spring, Tobi asked me to participate in a   Get The Look post as an opportunity to spread the word about my design Studio and of course my online boutique, Shop Ten 25.  I loved pulling the post together so much, that I later decided to make Get The Look Monday standard on my blog!

So one of my 2013 goals is to pay it forward! As my business grows and you lovely readers continue to support the changes around here, I can’t help but think of what I was going through 4 years ago when I decided to start this chapter in my life!  Seeing my business grow &  having others reach out to support me has been overwhelming…in a good way!  I hope that we can all remember what it was like to branch out on our own, start something new and be so thankful for any morsel of advise to keep us going!

And when I needed another show stopping piece for a client’s master bedroom, I went straight to Black-Chandelier. The chandelier was perfect for this room and it brought in romance, glamour and that extra bit of bling that I love so much.  We used the 7-light black crystal chandelier in the room.

ST25: You have been involved in the design industry for years, what inspired you to start Black-Chandelier.Com?

BC: Lighting has always been one of the most crucial elements in design… When we brought Black Crystal Chandeliers to the market… our clients were as captivated by their unique beauty as we were.  Because Black Chandeliers marry so well with a multitude of décor styles… their popularity was overwhelming.  The allure is totally mysterious.

ST25:  When did you start the boutique?

BC: We have been bringing Black Chandeliers to our personal clients residential & commercial design projects for about 6 years now.  Our online boutique opened to the public in the spring of o8.

ST25:  I love that you have recently expanded your product offering into Lamps! Do you have any other plans to add more fabulous pieces for the Boutique.

BC: Yes most definitely… along with adding more FAB styles of Black Chandeliers, Sconces & Lamps… We are also planning to launch our line of Black “One of a Kind” furniture pieces & accents.

ST25: How do you select the pieces that you offer in the boutique?

BC: Only our Top Sellers… the pieces that have been purchased and loved over and over by our clients and customers earn the right to be showcased in our boutique.

ST25: As an interior designer, I am constantly being asked to provide samples so that my client can touch and feel the product. Do you have samples available or showrooms where designers can view your products.

BC: Because we have done projects in many major cities… if asked… we can usually direct a new potential client to a location where they will be able to see our Chandeliers first hand.
