We have worked with a handful of bachelors, so creating the perfect masculine space has become second nature to us. Men base their decisions on function first, but as we delve into the design process they begin to understand the important of aesthetics as well. I love the challenge of creating an entire home for a bachelor, it’s like the entire home becomes their man cave.
This masculine room has the perfect masculine man cave feel and the right amount of sophistication. So we pulled together a few of our favorite pieces to help you pull together this look for the man in your life!! See links for shopping below!
Knox Antique Mirrored Pendant | Burnished Horn Tray | Gold Leaf Navy Velvet Chair | Sequin Swirl Pillow | Watercolor Tree Rings Art | Marianna Art Print| Pandora Pyrite Box | Burl Wood Coffee Table | Etched Platinum Pots

Happy New Year! We are back in The Studio after a much needed break to celebrate the holiday season with our family and friends. We thought we would start off the new year with Pantone’s color of the year, Marsala. Not our favorite, and it hasn’t been racking up the rave reviews around the design industry. It’s a muddy and muted version of burgundy in my opinion and it just looks flat. I am such a color lover and bold saturated colors like tangerine, emerald and turquoise (past winners) always catch my eye and inspire me to incorporate them when designing.
We pulled a few “Marsala” pieces to see if we could bring back the love for the 2015 color of the year, and here is what we came up with. Not too bad when you pull a few versions of the color together. I would say I am more drawn to the more saturated version of the color. What do you think?
Flamingo Chandelier | Omari Starburst Sculpture | Everyday I Love You Art Print | Juliette Vases | Linen Stool
We love this time of year! All of the magic in the air that comes with the holiday season always brings a smile to our faces. Today’s Get The Look, celebrates the holiday season with a chic and tonal color palette! A mix of silver & gold metals will make your room sparkle and creates a seasonal cheer without the typical red and green that we usually see. It’s a great way to make your home feel festive and neutrals make transitioning your interiors out of the holiday season simple!

Denver Life Magazine included our Garland Candle Holder in their Deck The Halls feature this month. I love the mix of glitzy pieces that bring in that festive fell and how easily the pieces can transition into your home throughout the year.

Looking for an office chair that doesn’t scream “office supply store”? We feel your pain! When selecting a task chair for your office, there are many things to consider, comfort and support should be at the top of that list. But, if your like us and you just need a chair that looks good with average support, we have the one! We come and go throughout the day in The Studio, so we don’t usually sit for long hours at a time. The Calvin Leather Chair is the one we use in The Studio, and it is perfect! Its easy to move around and is comfortable to sit in for long hours if needed!
With limited time to wrap up projects before Christmas, we have been busy little bees! This nursery project is so close to be finished and the final art and accessories are going in just in time for the Holidays! Baby Corinne is one lucky girl! With a color palette of coral & turquoise, she will be able to grow into her room as her needs change. The crib can convert into a toddler bed and the changing table is basically a dresser so that will be an easy conversion. We are photographing the space just after the New Year, and I can’t wait to show it off!!!
Here are a few pictures we took of baby Corinne and her mommy enjoying the new additions to the room! We promise to show off the before and afters too!
Black is always a good idea. The classic color can bring a ton of texture to a space when used on sequins, lacquer and embroidery. We love the strong, yet edgy feel of black and it can easily be added to any space with pillows, accessories and lighting. Here are a few of our favorite black pieces to inspire your dark side!

This time of year we have quite a few house guests that stay with us through the holiday season. Getting the guest room ready so that our guests feel at home is pretty easy to do with a few simple changes. Our clients have become more aware of the importance of making their guest feel at home too. So they often request that we bring in a few easy pieces to help them feel at home when visiting.
This guest room began with basics like white & grey, and then we layered it with bold pillows & art. We then added a chic throw blanket to keep with the tonal grey palette and a linen chair int he corner for guest to sit if needed. I love the casual linen bedding too, the pieces are easy to wash and look great with a little wrinkle. They make the bedding low maintenance, yet still comfortable for visitors.
You can shop the pieces from this gorgeous grey guest room from the links here:
