What to do?
Last week I blogged about the latest in designing your own lamp. Remember this beauty I designed from Mottega Lamps? I usually go for bold colors, but I loved the understated look of this lamp. The gold wood base and acrylic final are my favorite pieces on the lamp and the soothing castello color is very chic to me.
So as promised, I pulled together a bedroom for these chic but neutral lamps. Tall lamps are a bit of an obsession for me right now, I love the balance they bring to larger scale furniture like this headboard. Subtle, sophisticated and simple are the words I would use to describe the way these lamps look in the space. Pops of yellow and turquoise look perfect with the gold wood base of the lamp and the taller shade completes it all. I would have loved a warm teal lamp but that color isn’t available, hopefully they expand the color offering soon.

Great moodboard! I recently swapped out my skinny, leggy bedside lamps for giant ball-stacked ones with drum shades…can’t believe the difference!!
