Weekend Window {All About Organics}

The fluid shapes, serpentine lines, and radiating textures in this week’s ‘Weekend Window’ have been thoroughly inspiring! It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of modern geometrics… one look at my portfolio will tell you that. But strong geometrics require balance and organic elements are just the thing! A large square headboard upholstered in a tiled pattern works beautifully with an abstract painting much like a tailored, modern sofa is complimented nicely by an over-scaled floral pattern on a rug .

Inspired by the simple beauty of nature, there’s certainly nothing simple about this collection of brightly colored agate sculptures, golden wire bowls, and leafy chandeliers. Geometrics may still be my favorite but organics play a close runner-up!
