Turquoise & Orange
I’m working on a guest room with a sitting area and my client has requested Turquoise and Orange! YAY!!! We are going to go chic yet comfortable and give the room a boutique hotel fell. Inspiration is always the first step to finding a direction on any project I begin. I will begin selecting the furniture, fabrics and lighting this weekend!
Here are a few turquoise and orange rooms that will be our visual inspiration for this project!
I’m in love with Tobi Fairley’s “Glenwood” project.
This room has it all! Sophistication and comfort. The turquoise and orange accents work well in the bright and open space and the pattern on the orange drapes keeps things interesting.
This nursery from Little Crown Interiors is more modern in style than what we are going to plan for but the accent wall and pops of orange in the room are soothing yet fun!
The kid’s bedroom in the 2010 HGTV Dream Home is spectacular!

The orange & turquoise bring oomph to a subtle outdoor space in Eric Striffler’s photo.
This retro chic living room is another one of my favorites. The mix of metal finishes and the large scale art that compliments each other really keeps the space from looking planned, almost like each piece was gathered over time.
