Sitting Around The Bedroom

I love having a bench at the end of our bed. We use it everyday, especially in the mornings when we are getting ready.  The more popular uses for our bench: putting our shoes,  sitting down to get a little cuddle time with the girls (they love the bench) and plopping down while getting dressed for the day to watch t.v. and procrastinate.

If you have the space, adding a bench, love seat or even x-benches at the end of your bed is a must in my opinion.  I love the comfortable and cozy feel that it brings to a room.   And, if you looking to bring in a accent color or fun graphic pattern, this is the perfect place to do so. Do you have seating at the end of your bed?  Do you use that seating or is it just for looks?

    Abby:
My mother in law just moved into a retirement community, and one of the things that didn’t sell in her estate sale was a bench, which is now at the end of our bed.
Can’t wait to redo! You have me inspired! Love your blog!

I love the idea, especially for putting on boots in the wintertime! I worry that I would cover mine in clothes, however 🙂 Your blog is gorgeous. Have a lovely weekend!

You make a compelling argument with these beautiful bedrooms! Now if I can only make room for one of those gorgeous benches!

I’ve been searching for the perfect bench for the end of our bed. Still haven’t found it so my search continues!

We also use our bench for snuggling our dogs and sitting down in the morning to watch TV to avoid heading to the office. I also find myself sitting down to brush my teeth to catch CNN, FoodNetwork, or HGTV!
