Hollywood Regency on Ebay, Craigslist and Etsy
I recently purchased a fabulous white bamboo dining room table and chairs for a client’s dining room on ebay. I am so excited to get the set and see it in the room! I was really shocked and excited to see all of the “hollywood regency” and “KWID” pieces on the site and wanted to share a few of them.
Sometimes it’s fun to add a piece or two to a room that didn’t come from a retail store. Mixing the old with the new and creating an eclectic feel can really make a room feel fresh, comfortable and like it took years to collect everything. If you are an avid DIY er, there is no limit to the fabulous pieces you could create and customize for your home.
1. Craigs list is always hit or miss but the hits are fabulous. Check out these snags. Sometimes sellers will ship the item if you arrange the service, try Uship. It’s a great resource to name your price and sit back and watch the bids roll in.

And from another Etsy shop, this vintage chair is well priced at $525. I could see it recovered in something like this: See 6th Street Design School for more fun upholstery ideas.

It’s a bit of a challenge to get an affordable shipping option when you snag two huge faux bamboo mirrors for less than $300!! BUT, you can always use uship to gather bids that fit you budget!
Although this may not look like much, refinishing this headboard from ebay in a white lacquer would be stunning. You could always add a lush velvet to the inside for a softer look.

Wow! So many great pieces! I love this type of DIY glam. You can take something just awful and make it look snazzy with white or black paint.
I haven’t looked on Etsy for Hollywood Regency items. I’ll have to now.
