Meet Abbe
After designing more than a hundred sorority houses across the country, I’ve become known as the designer who understands how to balance durability, function, and personality in a house filled with women. I bring in Southern charm, playful patterns, and feminine details that feel fresh without ever losing sophistication.
My work is luminous and bold, always polished but never predictable. From custom wallpapers and fabrics to one-of-a-kind furniture pieces, every design I touch is meant to capture the spirit of the women who live there—and make their house feel like home.

That’s exactly how I designed the Minnesota AOII house—with every moment of chapter life in mind. Here are a few of my go-to design tips when creating a sorority home that’s both gorgeous and functional:
Layer color and pattern with purpose
We don`t always have to stick with sorority colors to make the house feel connected to the chapter. Instead, I loved leaning into rich jewel tones—emerald, sapphire, amethyst, and ruby—that layer beautifully together. When paired with bold patterns and luxe textures and the final look feels elevated.
Create zones that flex
Sorority life is all about multitasking. One space can serve as a study nook during the week and a hangout spot before game day. I love using modular furniture, ottomans with hidden storage, and statement lighting to make each room flexible without sacrificing style.

Seeing the girls’ faces when they walk in:
That first reaction is everything. Watching a chapter light up as they see their “new house” never gets old.
All the custom details coming together:
From the Greek-letter embroidered pillows to the branded stair runners—those little pieces that make each sorority house one-of-a-kind finally have their moment.
Layering the final touches:
Pillows fluffed, art hung, accessories placed just so. The whole vibe shifts from construction zone to home in a matter of hours.
Leaving knowing the house feels like “them”:
Every sorority has its own story. Install day is when all of the colors, patterns, and personality come together to reflect that chapter’s identity.
