The Right Pink
If you follow me on Instagram, I’m sure you have been seeing plenty of updates on our Downtown Dallas project. We love the unique and urban location of this town home, and of course we love that our client is requesting pink!!! We have had may conversations on how we want to incorporate the color, and the urban sophisticated shade is the one we both agreed on!
It all started with this Designer’s Guild Orangerie wallpaper and fabric. We we all over it and after a few brainstorming sessions, the pattern made it’s way to the ceiling of the master bedroom!! Ummm…can you say FABULOUS??!! So maybe it isn’t your “cup of tea”, but when your a successful single gal with no man to put the kibosh on ANYTHING, you just go for it!!! Why not?
The wallpaper is still being installed throughout the home and today, the leopard wallpaper for the master closet is being finalized!!! Now we just need to get all of those Louboutins up on the shelves!!
So incase you are wondering what in the world this room is going to look like, here are the fabrics that we pulled to use throughout the room. Looks bold…and it is…but once we layer this gorgeous pattern with simplistic white bedding and stunning white linen drapes and cornice boards…it will be AMAZING!!
As if the floral wallpaper and major girl power palette weren’t enough. We had to step it up with one major piece in pink, but the right pink. We used Robert Allen’s Velvet Maze in Cerise. Yes, Cerise. I think it may be my new favorite shade of pink!!! It’s perfect for this vintage loveseat…I may freak out once my client starts using it!
