The Louisiana Lake House

I have been swamped lately but wanted to share a few fun tidbits from a client’s lake house project. We spent a full day shopping for furniture, accessories and fabrics last week and I am loving the final look. My client’s city home is full of bold color, sophisticated furniture and a look I like to call “Upscale Acadian”. But, for their lake house, they wanted something completely different than the city home.  A soothing color palette that feels soft, comfortable but packs a bit of a punch with textures!  The limed oak floors are being installed as I type and most of the basic piece are being installed in less than two weeks, I just can’t wait to share more.

But, for now I thought it would be fun to show you a few of our “looks” for the bedrooms. There is no shortage of linens, “lake house” graphics (our fun name for them) and loads of great color!  We have even selected a few of Kelly Wearstler’s new fabrics from Lee Jofa, the samples were just added to the showroom display the day we walked in, I am beyond giddy about this place!
