Sunshine From Drapery
I have been working on a client’s master bedroom and we are wanting to add yellow drapes. We have yet to select a wall color but have the rug, bedding and night stands ready to go! I just love the pop of color that yellow brings into an otherwise neutral room, don’t you? The master bedroom only has one window and the room doesn’t get much natural light because the neighbor is so close. But, adding yellow draperies will really brighting up the room and bring in that sunshine feel. Hopefully we finalize the fabric for the drapes as well as other accent pieces in the room. I can’t wait to share, this room is going to be gorgeous.

You are so right… yellow just adds a certain vibrancy. I’m contemplating yellow or purple as an accent color in my master now…

YES! I want yellow drapes too! Would prefer silk but could be coaxed into velvet. Please let me know if you find the right fabric. I’ve been ordering samples non-stop but have yet to find the right sunshine-y color.

We are looking at cottons and silks. I am not finding a yellow velvet that isn’t on the gold side.
