Inside Design {Clarke & Clarke}
As a designer, I am so fortunate to have access to gorgeous fabrics, furniture and tons of great accessories that are not always available to the general public. I am often asked about the pieces I use in my projects and how they can be purchased. Just know that we can always provide you with the fabrics, lighting and furniture that we use, so feel free to send us an email an we can help you out! Today, I wanted to share one of those sources. Clarke & Clarke has been on my radar for a few years and I am constantly blown away by their product offerings. Stay tuned for a fabulous wall covering installation with one of their chic bold graphic patterns!!!
The right textiles and wallcoverings are crucial to breathing life and energy into a room. That’s why we are so excited about the new releases from Clarke & Clarke! This U.K. based, family-run company specializes in high-quality fabrics and wallcoverings with styles ranging from classic and sophisticated to modern and playful. I use their designs quite a bit (like this room with the Palio design in aqua), and I love how well they adapt and translate to different elements, like upholstery, drapes or walls.

Their new releases are just as stunning and I can’t wait to get my hands on a few of these. And in true Clarke & Clarke style, these darlings have plenty of coordinating solids and patterns! I love how they pull it all together, take a look at a few of my favorites from the collection. First up, Festival. Festival references the 1951 Festival of Britain with the style and colors of an exciting era in design. Striking patterns on cotton and linen combine with colors ranging from muted tones of Mineral and Grey to uplifting shades of Berry, Aqua and Yellow.
If your looking for something a bit more simplistic and classic, Karina is a fabulous for that! Karina features soft, luscious textured chenille fabric in 31 modern shades. Expect to see this is a wide range of uses, from rich, gathered drapes to residential and commercial upholstery. Sounds just like it is…great basics with a kick!
And who doesn’t love the fabric that serves as a workhorse for any piece of furniture? Linoso is comprised of fine, linen-look textured fabric in a wide selection of colors. Lovely and eye-catching on its own, the collection also works effortlessly with more decorative fabrics and is extremely hard-wearing. Linen is going to be everywhere in 2013 since comfort is the starting point for any fabulous well lived in room!
