Rental Kitchen Fix
We recently shared a few tips with Real Simple on how to make your rental feel more like home. This high rise apartment is modern, masculine and beyond gorgeous. But, making it fell more like home was at the top of our to-do list. Not everyone is a fan of having a rug in the kitchen because once you spill food and it works its way down into the rug, it can become a nasty mess. Adding an affordable rug that doubles as an indoor/outdoor piece is the key. Indoor / outdoor rugs are easy to clean and usually won’t stain as easily either.
We used this fun rug from West Elm to bring in a punch of color and a simplistic pattern for the large open kitchen. A few chic accessories to store kitchen gadgets gave this kitchen a lived in feel that looks anything but temporary!
