Pretty Powder Bathrooms
Powder baths are one of my favorite little rooms to design. They are the perfect place to go bold with color, a graphic wallpaper and a fabulous mirror. I wanted to share a few of my favorites from recent design projects from The Studio. Each of these is a reflection of our client’s style and aesthetic. When we begin to discuss the overall feel for the powder bath, out client’s aways ask for a space that will impress their guests.

This bachelor pad needed a powder bath that felt modern and minimal. Our client wanted this bathroom to tie in with the rest of his home without going to overboard. We brought in oversized art for color and to emphasize the hight ceilings. Simplistic lighitng and accessories keep the room from feeling to fussy. Most men like to keep it simple!

The gorgeous hardwoods need a little something to bring them to life, and this gold metallic graphic wallpaper does just that. Neutral tones create a soothing space and show off that gorgeous freestanding sink. A few polished nickel scones, acrylic accessories and simplistic mirror keep the space from feeling to busy and allows the wallpaper to be the star.

Lavender grasscloth wallpaper and a mint marbled wallpaper on the ceiling were the perfect compliments to the antique table made vanity. The natural grasscloth brings in just enough texture to balance out all of the tile in the bathroom. The art is now the star of the room and industrial touches complete the rustic chic feel that our client wanted.

The ultimate ladies room! We took this powder bathroom from crusty to chic! The black and white hex tile floor were the first design element that we selected and the room just took shape from there. A touch of leopard, a pop of bold fuchsia and a gold starburst light fixture tie into the rest of the client’s studio space.
