Pretty Paper {Petal Pusher}
We have used Hygge & West’s Petal Pusher wallpaper in gold on a few projects and are smitten. The soft floral pattern fills the space with a super chic feel and the metallic gold takes it to the next level. Our client’s were going for girly chic spaces, so this modern take on a floral was the perfect fit to pull the rooms together. Being bold with wallpaper can be easily achieved without going overboard. Just keep the pattern simple, tonal and go for it!
This small powder bathroom was dark and since it is built in under the stair case, it had a cavelike feeling that was not chic at all. So we covered all of the walls with the gold Petal Pusher paper to brighting it up. I love the bold pattern in this small space, it really did create the wow factor that our client was after while bringing the chic look that she wanted too. The glitzy light fixtures bounced the perfect amount of light off of the metallic paper as well.
The Bella Lash Studio here in Uptown Dallas is located in a old house that was loaded with charm. But, it was lacking in the girly chic department so we brought in the Gold Petal Pushers paper to make the best of the unique ceiling and walls in the space. We used the pattern as an accent wall in the main lobby, it was the perfect way to greet clients as they entered the space. The soft floral pattern paired well with the other graphic patterns and soft pink & turquoise accents.
We carried the floral pattern into the treatment rooms and I love how taking it all the way across the angled ceiling opened up the dark space. Again, the glitzy lighting draws attention to the metallic finish on the wallpaper and opens up the space to create a soothing treatment room for their clients as well as a fabulous place to work all day!
