Paper paper on the wall
I love seeing rooms come together and wallpaper can make the biggest impact in a room. We recently had wallpaper installed in two little girl’s room, the back of shelving in a dining room and an entry at one of our client’s homes. I thought it would be better to show the paper up (AFTER), before the sad (BEFORE) images of the room. This house had major Dynasty decor…seriously can’t wait to show those pictures off soon!!!
This little one LOVES everything pink and I am pretty sure she is Barbie’s biggest fan. We went with an adorable floral pattern that is a bit funky and fun but looks great with her glitzy chandelier. Seriously, a 6 year old that requested a chandelier! I love this girl! How about that nice faux “design” on the walls before…hmmm….still trying to figure that one out!
The formal dining room has fresh coat of paint, trim and fabulous new hardwoods. This room wasn’t too bad, it just had a bit too much brass and with the new geometric wallpaper on the back of the cabinets it feels fresh and open! I’m sure there will be plenty of fun evening parties in this space!
If I were 13 I would have totally wanted this wallpaper! Christian Lacroix wallpaper in turquoise…yes please! One the new draperies are in, this room will be the envy of ever junior high girl around! So fabulous.
And finally, the entry hall. It has gorgeous moulding detail but just needed a little extra something to break it all up. So we selected a tone on tone Greek Key pattern from Clarke & Clarke to keep from being to aggressive with pattern and color. I love the tonal color story in here and it makes coming home a bit more fabulous!
