More Trending {High Point Market}
Today I wanted to show off a few more of my favorite trends that I spotted at High Point Market. Last week I showed off a few of my favorite hide pieces as well as a little animal magnetism. I love how manufactures are consitantly coming up with ways to take classic lines, shapes and functional pieces that have always been available, yet make them new and fresh.
Lacquer was everywhere at market this fall, yet it didn’t come across as cheap and cheesy like it can easily do. Sleek finishes in bold colors and sophisticated styles caught my eye. Lacquer brightens up a pieces and it brings in just the right amount of reflectivity to any room.

Color trends have been the big deal, especially since Pantone names a color of the year keeping the design world on its toes. Purple, teal and emerald green were big color players at market this year but purple was by far my favorite. I love how it varied from soft and chic lavenders to rich warm plums. Purple looks great in all tones and even as a monochromatic look but I love it most in small doses.
