Get The Look {Bijou and Boheme}
I have loved this small dining room from the moment I first spotted in in Style At Home. The Bijou & Boheme feel makes for a perfectly modern/chic dining space by building the room around great modern basics with a few glitzy touches to finish it off. So if you have been looking to create a space that pulls it all together with a pallet of pink, gorgeous modern classics and a perfect place to entertain friends and family…we’ve got cha covered on today’s Get The Look!

Thank you for noticing how well the design Meredith Heron Design did for Christine reflects her personal style. I custom designed the banquette to mix her love of the traditional and ornate with the modern sensibilities that the space required given that this space is both her kitchen and formal dining room. Three kids meant that we used a faux snakeskin on the banquette.
I also hand painted the silk drapery after being inspired by Kelly Wearstler’s foyer wallpaper which was also hand painted by a local artist. I worked with Griffin and Wong to design the custom handpainted wallpaper which I then had framed for either side of the windows.
We worked with Christine for almost a year to give her the kitchen of her dreams. Thank you for featuring it.

Gorgeous! I love this series. Seeing an entire room put together with items I might not have picked out myself is nice. I often pick out pieces that I love by themselves, but sometimes an unexpected rug that you may not love by itself, is perfect when mixed with an entire room.
