Dallas Morning News {Finding The Perfect Pair}
The monthly Home Team feature in the Arts & Life section of The Dallas Morning News is back! And this month, we are discussing our favorite and perfect pairings!
“Some things just go together: picnics and watermelon; America and apple pie; stars and stripes. We asked North Texas style makers about their perfect pairs. They’re not shy about combining everything from patterns and colors to styles and periods. It’s that mix, they say, that keeps a space fresh, unique and personal.”

Creating a space for a bachelor can have its challenges, and designer Abbe Fenimore should know; she has done her share of them.
“Using a mix of color, bold graphic pattern and refined accents can easily be too much for the guy that wants to keep it simple,” she says.
So instead, she opts to use a color that he likes in a variation of tones to give the space depth while keeping the overall feel masculine.
“Adding a little leather and sleek metal lighting will round out the space and keep the textures more visually interesting,” Fenimore says. Images Via: Melanie Johnson Photography for Studio Ten 25.
