Christmas Open House: The Jones
Today we are back in Dallas at Lisa & Jeremy Jones home. They live in a Dallas neighborhood where home styles range from 1940’s ranch to modern Craftsman and even all the way to the “Mc Mansion”. I love neighborhoods like this because there is so much character and not one home is the same. I have known Lisa and Jeremy for almost three years now and am so excited to finally share their home! I would call Lisa’s style naturally eclectic chic….say that fast three times. She loves glamorous chic pieces but always starts with cozy natural elements when selecting furniture. The mix is a room that feels calm yet full of sparkle.
The Jones are pet lovers (they own Barking Hound Village here in Dallas & Austin) and have fur babies Chip and Brownie that travel everywhere with them. I could not ask for better friends, puppy sitters or Day Spa buddies (well that would be Lisa).
From the moment you walk up the front steps on the porch, the simple white wreath catches you eye. It works perfectly with the design of the front door too. Lisa added a simple metallic star ornament inside the wreath to give it a little more of an eclectic feel.
The Christmas tree sits in front of the large living room window. The soft blue and yellow silk drapes frame the tree out so well don’t they?
Brownie had to get in on the action. She looks so pretty posing in front of the tree, I think this picture is a framer!
Lisa changed out the throw pillows on her sectional sofa to brighten up the space, she wanted to go with white and metallic accents in the room. The small white lacquer tray makes the perfect place to display that gorgeous West Elm topiary tree too. She even brought in the matching wreath and added the same start ornament just like on the front door.
The sliver metallic garland is the perfect retro Christmas touch and her ornaments are simple and classic. The tree skirt brings in colors that are found through out the space and helps to ground the tree with a fun pattern.
Isn’t her dining room gorgeous!!! She has the branch dining table & zig zag console from Shop Ten 25. The steel blue velvet dining chairs are from West Elm.
And how do you not notice the fluted fabric chandelier? LOVE! She went with metallic placemats and white & gold dishes to keep the table simple yet chic. A few natural elements like the oversized pinecones tie the entire “Lisa” look together.
The console is dressed with a simple piece of lit garland and touches of silver metallic and turquoise for a festive feel. The large vase in the center is filled with a mix of glitter and metallic ornaments.
Thank you Lisa, Jeremy, Chip and Brownie for letting me stop by to admire your home and Christmas Decorations. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
Stop by Monday to see a STUNNING white and turquoise Christmas wonderland. I am still trying to narrow down the images, it’s gorgeous.
