Built-In {Before & After}
A little paint and a few mirrors always make for an easy update with a few chic touches! Our client’s new home is going to be the perfect girly glam place for her but since the hardwoods and existing cabinets are all a dark brown, we needed to brighten it up a bit. This built-in entertainment cabinet fits the scale of the room but because it is so dark, it takes over a bit more than we would like it to.
BEFORE: Heavy, dark and in serious need of an update.
DURING/AFTER: I love love love the fresh coat of white paint. We just used the same paint color as all of the doors and trim in the home for a cohesive look. The oil based paint will provide a durable finish for the cabinet too. The center four doors were once a speaker fabric…but we decided to add mirrors to accentuate the mounding on the door fronts. Now we have a bright, light and chic built-in ready to be girly girl styled!!
