Before & After {Because You asked}
After posting a few Vine videos of our recent sorority house installation, we received a few questions about that fabulous turquoise zig zag chair and where it came from . So we thought we would fill you in on all of the details.
BEFORE: The fabric is beyond “not happening… ever” but the chair has a great shape and price! Sometimes you get hung up on a fabric that you know is perfect for a specific room, but once you began to break down the budget it doesn’t always make sense to spend $1200 or more on a chair that isn’t going to see much action. Now understand that you will get what you pay for. A chair discounted under $300 just may be the perfect piece for a little makeover! This project’s budget was a little challenging because the construction cost were a majority of the budget that we had.
AFTER: Turquoise was the color that my client had to have so once I spotted this fun zig zag pattern at Duralee, it was our jumping off point for the room so it was time to work a little magic on this chair. We pulled all of our fabrics together and headed over to JC’s Upholstery to watch the transformation!
