Let’s dish

Looking for a unique way to add interest to an awkward, boring or feature wall?  People have been using plates as wall decor for some time now, so there is no lack of inspiration out there.

Check out this great “how to” on ehow.com complete with step by step instructions.

Looking for more of an eclectic look? Mix and match plates in multiple patterns and colors to achieve that  collected “over time” look. Places like Etsy are great to pick up fun pieces here and there. Most cities have local flee markets or antique stores with tons of hidden treasures.

Going modern is also easy. Try mixing up the sizes but keeping the plate color the same.  Keeping all of the plates the same pattern and style is also a chic way to bring a pop of color and pattern to a simple space.
