Times Two Design {Lamp Challenge}
When Lauren from Times Two Design asked me to participate in their lamp challenge, I immediately said yes. I have been a huge fan of Times Two’s pieces for a few years now, and knew immediately where I was going to use the lamp. I selected the turquoise mini-slag lamp and it is perfect in our guest room. The timing couldn’t be more perfect and I’m excited to show off the new look!
BEFORE: The dark bedding was too heavy for the bright room, and the vintage turquoise lamp was just too large for the night stand. I loved the velvet stripe on the headboard, so keeping that and bring in fresh updates was the plan.
AFTER: A fresh new vibe! I love crisp white bedding, so I mixed in a few pieces from Peacock Alley with Kelly Wearstler’s teal Katana Pillows to brighten it up. Scale is one of the most important design elements in a space, so it was time to get it right. A few colorful books, a stunning quartz mounted on brass and colorful art from Cocoa and Hearts helped pull it all together. Now we have a guest room with a super chic night stand and a turquoise slag lamp really bring the wow factor to the room!
And if your looking for a few chic pieces to add from Times Two Design’s collection, your in luck! Here are a few of our favorites from the line that will make styling any night stand or coffee table a breeze! Trays are the perfect way to bring in a pop of color and are a great place to organize multiple pieces. I’m in love with their acrylic agate trays and have used them a few times in client’s homes.
Boxes also make accessorizing easy. We used this black lacquer box with blue quartz in a client’s entry space to bring in a bold pop of color. Boxes are so easy to layer and look great on top of a stack of books too.
