Work It {Wardrobe Additions}
I have to admit, I love clothes about as much as I love design but pulling the trigger isn’t easy for me. I do struggle with fashion daily, because I want to be cute, chic and stylish but I find myself gravitating towards many of the same exact pieces that treat me right and always make me feel pulled together when I’m short on time. Why do I feel like I can’t pull an outfit together as easily as I can pull together a fabulous design for a client’s room?
I am constantly moving around and need my outfits to to say “I can climb a ladder with out flashing anyone, get on the floor to layout samples without my bits showing and break a sweat during an installation while still look professional doing all of this!” I think you’ll be surprised to see that even though I love bold color….I like to keep it simple when it comes to outfits. I save the big drama looks for fun nights out on the town!

I wanted to share a few of my favorite pieces and looks that keep me pulled together on those long installation days as well as presentations days. If you follow me on Pinterest, you have probably noticed that I have a board dedicated to outfits and have most likely worn them…exactly! You won’t be seeing any pictures of me on the blog showing off outfits, but I do secretly wish I had one of the many awesome fashion bloggers make a look book for me. For now, I will just have to stalk them and stick with my favorite looks from Pinterest!
Here are a few of my favorite spring looks!

All white with a nude heal…yes please! I like to save this one for shopping and presentation days. I love these Articles of Society white skinny jeans….the price is amazing and I snagged a few pair to get me through the summer.
Pretty much my go-to look. I love a flowy and lightweight T and those shoes…I have them and I LOVE them! A great statement necklace, wrist stack and worn jeans make me feel like I can easily take on any task the day throws at me.

Another spring favorite. I love my denim jacket and wear it often!
