Ritz Renew
This project is a first for The Studio! Our Red Ritz project went on the market this past winter, we were sad to see it go knowing all of the detailed design elements would be taken apart bit by bit. But, not so fast! The new owner loved the basic design elements in the space and asked us to make it work for him.
We are so close to installation day as the new pieces are being prepared for the home. The new owner is not a big fan of red and wanted to create a space that was more neutral and toned down. I can’t wait to show off the before and after images once we have every detail in place. But today, I wanted to share the progress in the master bedroom.
BEFORE: The bold cowhide accent wall was a custom pieces that our client loved, but the new owner isn’t a big fan of the look.
DURING: We decided to leave the neutral suede wallcovering and matching drapery panels since they would allow us to layer the ivory and blue color palette that we are going with. We also selected a new wallpaper for the back accent wall, I love how well it plays off of the suede and sets the tone for the feel of the room. Once the new headboard, navy nightstands and gorgeous art are added this room will have made a 180! I love the soft mix of white and beige linens from Peacock Alley too, the pieces are also going to layer well with the design elements that we will be adding soon!
I’m looking forward to sharing more details as the space comes together! Here is a look at the inspiration board for the space to give you a better look at the design plan. I can’t wait to show it off!
