Project Greenway is finally starting to look like a home. I haven’t posted an update in a few months because things have not been too pretty. Sometime things to have get worse before they can get better, and that has been the situation around here. From foundation to framing, this little cottage has taken on a new look and I finally feel like I can show it to you!
In October, I posted a few images of the foundation going in and left it at that. I have been sharing a few bits and pieces on facebook and instagram but nothing too detailed. Once the new second floor and expansion to the first floor when in, things slowed down quite a bit. Electrical, plumbing, HVAC and insulation began and although there were many decisions to make it wasn’t pretty.
Now, we have sheetrock and the hardwood floors are in! Here are a few update images to show the progress from the past few months. Now that the floors are in we can really see the home taking shape. Cabinets, tile, trim and doors are all on the list over the next few weeks so keep an eye out for more details.
Here is what the home looked like before we started and a few shots of the progress on the outside….
Now that the sheetrock is up, taking a picture to show the progress actually looks like something. Trying to show off the progress without sheetrock isn’t visually appealing if you know what I mean. Here are a few good pictures of the hardwoods and cabinets going in! I can not wait to see the paint go on. Hope to share more soon.
