My dream closet has consisted of fabulous images on one of my Pinterest boards for years. When we started the remodel on our outdated 1950’s home, I knew exactly where it was going to go and what it was going to look like. Now that we have been moved back in, I am so happy that I made the choice to go all out.
I would say that the space is a place that I enjoy getting dressed and ready in every day. It is an over the top girly space, but it is filled with pieces from my Grandmother (the vanity was in one of her guest bedrooms, I painted it and styled it with a few other trinkets from her home) and my Great-Grandmother (the chandelier was in my great grandparent’s home until they sold the house and then is was in my Grandmother’s dining room until they sold her home).
The floral wallpaper on the ceiling and vanity accent wall was the first design element I selected for the room, it was the jumping off point for the pink vanity and perfectly showcases the chandelier!
I recently had new head shots taken, and knew I was going to dress up and use my closet as one of the backdrops! Thank you to Fort Lion Studio for the fabulous pictures.
