A welcome addition
Project Greenway is finally starting to look like a real home and I am excited to share a few more updates on The Blog today. It has been tough to share progress because construction isn’t always pretty and overwhelming amount of trash and the mess construction brings isn’t fun. I feel like we are so close to moving in and when I walked into see our new countertops, it really felt like a home.
We had marble in the home before the remodel, and it was a big ‘ole fail. It showed everything and wasn’t working since we are so messy in the kitchen. I did hate to waste it and asked to have it cut down for the vanity tops in the upstairs bathrooms.
So, we decided to go with an option that looked like marble but could take the abuse we served up in the kitchen. We choose Vico Stone’s Arabescato because of its large veining and almost pure white background. The price was in our budget too, and of course that always make the hubby happy. And, I finally got the waterfall edge I have been wanting! It looks perfectly sleek and modern and the guys did a great job lining up the veining.
