2022 DESIGN TRENDS
Color has always been a design element that sparks the most inspiration for me when it comes to creating. It’s one of the very first things I discuss with my clients when we begin to dig into their likes and dislikes. Know what colors the are drawn to vs. what colors turn them off is crucial to creating a space the love and what to spend time in.

PINK: If you follow me, you know pink is my favorite color. I love every shade of the happy hue and find it to be a color family that works well with others. From blush to fuchsia, it can create a multitude of vibes and works well on any scale. Classy, sophisticated and feminine are a few that come to mind when I think about pink. Pink will be a big player in 2022. Expect to see it mixed in with a bright floral for spring as well as a muted textural accent through the fall.

CLASSIC BLUE
Blue just might be the #1 favorite color of almost everyone. I say this because everyone I know and almost all of my clients request it when we begin the design development phase of their project. What is classic blue? Well, that all depends on your what shade of you prefer to wear or use throughout your home. To me, a classic blue is one that makes a statement with rich saturation and deep undertones. This console table is my favorite example of a classic blue and the texture underneath softens it just a bit. We pulled in pops of blue in multiple shades like powder blue, aqua and navy with artwork and accessories to create a monochromatic feel without looking too tonal.
