    Bachelor Pad {Master Sneak Peek}

    This past fall was super busy around The Studio. I have had a handful of projects hit the finish line, and that means photo shoot time!  Most of them are in the final stages of editing and I can’t wait to share and add them to my portfolio!  Today I thought I would share a few pics from a master bedroom on one of the projects.  This room screams “man cave” and I am obsessed with the custom black walnut headboard!  Soaring ceilings with wood beams, stone for days, plaster walls and tons of great texture make this master the perfect get away for my bachelor client!

    With a few pieces of fabulous art, we were able to bring in color, movement and texture that bring that extra something to the room. Since my client’s favorite color is red, we used touches of the color with the art and accent pillows. I didn’t want the red to take over so used modern fabrics like the red croc pattern on the king shams and for the bench at the end of the bed.  And what bed doesn’t look perfect with a luxurious fluffy throw blanket? I LOVE this Bella Throw from Peacock Alley, it keeps the room on the masculine side while still adding a soft touch!  And while we are talking soft and fluffy…how about that gorgeous Alpaca Rug from The Rug Company?  My client loved it so much, we used it in the bar area and in another bedroom!

    Sweet Dreams…Reclaimed

    I have been behind on my blogging so I’m finally sitting down to update!

    I’m excited to share a sneak peak of a custom project for one of my new projects. My client wanted his master bedroom to be masculine, comfortable and unique. When he told me about this piece of walnut and how he wanted it to be his headboard, I was dying to see it!  We are still waiting on the details and history of the walnut . Here are a few images of the piece he selected and the bed in progress.  Up next? A custom 6′x5′ coffee table made from reclaimed cypress. I promise to share the details as soon as we finalize the direction.
