    Get The Look {Bijou and Boheme}

    I have loved this small dining room from the moment I first spotted in in Style At Home. The Bijou & Boheme feel makes for a perfectly modern/chic dining space by building the room around great modern basics with a few glitzy touches to finish it off. So if you have been looking to create a space that pulls it all together with a pallet of pink, gorgeous modern classics and a perfect place to entertain friends and family…we’ve got cha covered on today’s Get The Look!

    Get The Look

    An eclectic, colorful and feminine bedroom is rocking out today’s Get The look. I’m loving the pink and yellow color palette with touches of turquoise, brass and subtle gray to keep the overall feel super girly yet comfortable. Wanting to go for this gorgeous look in your home but don’t have a huge budget? Start with hitting up a few of your favorite local vintage shops and be prepared to put a little work into painting or reupholstering a few of your finds. Layer the room with unique pieces that you have or find along the way!

    Get The Look {Agate Inspired}

    You have to admit that this over the top jewel toned entry with luxurious pieces and unique details catches your eye. Kelly Wearstler really does know how to bring it and I adore light and dark contrast mixed with unique accessories in this space. There isn’t much to say…it just speaks for itself. Recreating this one on a budget would be a blast…who is going to go for it?

    Get The Look {A 2012 Favorite}

    I have loved taking the week off to spend time with family, friends and to catch up on a few loose ends around The Studio. I have also taken this week to look back on a few of my favorite projects, blog posts and of course prepare for a fabulous 2013! I have been fortunate to have met and “worked” with so many driven, successful and motivational people in this industry.  There is nothing more rewarding that inspiration and unconditional support, especially in this competitive industry.

    Tobi Fairley has been one of those people and I can say THANK YOU enough to her and the great team she surrounds herself with.  This past Spring, Tobi asked me to participate in a   Get The Look post as an opportunity to spread the word about my design Studio and of course my online boutique, Shop Ten 25.  I loved pulling the post together so much, that I later decided to make Get The Look Monday standard on my blog!

    So one of my 2013 goals is to pay it forward! As my business grows and you lovely readers continue to support the changes around here, I can’t help but think of what I was going through 4 years ago when I decided to start this chapter in my life!  Seeing my business grow &  having others reach out to support me has been overwhelming…in a good way!  I hope that we can all remember what it was like to branch out on our own, start something new and be so thankful for any morsel of advise to keep us going!

    Wishing you all a wonderful and successful 2013!! It WILL be amazing.  Take a look at the Get The Look pieces from Tobi’s blog this past spring, all of the pieces have links for you too!  And while you are on her blog, take a look around, there are TONS of fabulous things to inspire you too!

    Get The Look {Global Bookcase}

    Would you like to live the life of a culturally educated world-traveller? Besides the years of traipsing abroad, you’ll probably also need a fabulously styled bookcase to display the treasures from your travels! Here’s the recipe… A simple bookcase with clean lines, lots of geometric elements layered together, and an uncluttered mix of global finds. Simple as that! You’re practically travelled already!!

    Get The Look {Cool Living Room}

    Sleek, simple, and yet still inviting… that’s what I love about this space! The clean-lined silhouettes draw on the classics and the muted blue tones feel fresh and modern. I boiled down the basics of what you need to achieve a similar look for yourself and you can find my suggestions in the links below.
    So, what do you think of this look? Would you GET IT?

    Guest Blogging – Get The Look

    I’m thrilled to be guest blogging for Tobi Fairley once again.  So today, I thought I would share two rooms from my portfolio that receive the most “where can I find that?” questions. A classic black & white design scheme with bold graphics, pops of color and glamorous accessories. Head over to Tobi’s blog to see how you can “get the look”!
