Acrylic, Lucite or glass…no matter your preference they are all stunning. Visually these elements create a modern yet sophisticated look that blends with with many design styles. I love adding a glitzy acrylic lamp on top of a more traditional chest or cabinet, they compliment each other so well. Today, we are sharing a few of our favorite pieces from The Shop and mixing them with bold color, tons of texture and subtle graphic patterns. How would you do acrylic?

Unfortunately we have not had much of a winter here in Texas. My daffodils are popping up, our yard is turning green and the trees are starting to do the same. It feels like Spring most days down here, and then we will get a crummy “cold front”. I’m ready for the consistent spring temperatures, bright clothing and of course tons of patio time! Green always makes me think of Spring and today’s Weekend Window boasts a few of our favorite green pieces from The Shop to help run the chilly temps outta here! You can always SHOP BY COLOR for all things green too!

Wanted to spread a little LOVE today and share a few of my favorite things for Valentine’s Day. I know my hubby always feels a little pressure to pick the perfect gift, but to tell the truth a sweet card always does the trick. This month, our “Shop With A Cause” is all about pink and red to celebrate Valentine’s Day. A percentage of sales from all pink and red pieces at Shop Ten 25 will go toward one of our favorite non-proffits! You can see more about that HERE.

We all have a little Decorista in us and pulling your home together is just as important as what you wear when you leave the house each day. I love seeing what a few of my favorite Decoristas are up to, what pieces they are obsessing over and how they end up styling their own homes. So today’s Weekend Window celebrates the Decorista in all of us. I think it is safe to say that a touch of brass, over the top chic pillows, bold art and sleek seating will make any home feel pulled together! Here are a few of our favorites!

We’re still buzzing after the Paris Fashion Week this past October…It seems that black, white and yellow are setting the trends for 2013, as seen in Marc Jacobs’ for Louis Vuitton and Sarah Burton’s for Alexander McQueen. Burton took inspiration from the motif of a honey bee as an entire theme for the spring 2013 collection. So, I decided to put together some “honey” accents, bold patterns and fun textures to create my own bee-inspired look from the Shop Ten 25 collection. Hope you enjoy!

We got a taste of tribal touches and sophisticated agates on the runway and in our favorite design publications this past Fall, but I think we are going to see more of these two in 2013! Some versions of these trends tend to go more neutral in color, while many have gone bold with large prints and colors. I love them mixed together with the right amount of bold color and simplistic neutrals to keep the overall look balanced. We have added so many fabulous pieces in The Shop to help you bring in as little or as much of the tribal and agate trend to pull your space together!
