We love working with other creatives in the design industry, we always feel inspired and open to new ideas after our time together. Shop Ten 25 has a great round up of designers that each bring their unique aesthetic and design eye with their picks. We pulled a few of our favorites from around the design world to see what they would snag if they had an unlimited bank account! Today we are featuring Dallas artist and designer, Baron Farha.
This passionate Oklahoman has always been inspired to be in the design industry and his curiosity has guided him to pursue his dreams. “I am humbled by my life experiences. I have lived in Dallas since I was 19 and had the opportunity to learn so much from over 15 years of working in the interior design industry. We have all had those clients who cannot see past what they do not see. As an experienced interior designer I can help paint the possibilities of an empty room. You can check out Baron’s website HERE.
Here are a few of Baron’s picks from The Shop. Take a look at all of our designers in our Designer Picks section.
If you haven’t had a chance to check out Shop Ten 25′s Spring Look Book, its a must! The look book is full of Spring inspiration, designer picks and a few of our favorites from The Shop. As the Shop’s curator, I am constantly inspired by the gorgeous and glitzy pieces that we carry. Now, if I could only find a place in my own home for my favorites! Here are my top picks for Spring, I’m loving all of the bold color, texture and floral prints that we have right now. We also asked our Jr. Designer, Christy to fill us in on her favorite pieces too!
Today I’m so excited share that I am once again part of a new publication from Michele M. Granger, who is author of several books about working in design and professor of Fashion and Design at Missouri State University. I met Michele after she found my interview with Anne Sieder from Pretty Haus years ago. She liked it so much that she decided to feature it in the Interior Design section of the new edition of “Fashion: The Industry and its Careers”. Now in it’s 3rd edition, “The Fashion Industry and its Careers” is bigger and better. AND, one of our Studio projects now graces the cover of the book! You can buy a copy HERE & HERE, and if you want to check out any of Michele’s past editions you can find them HERE.
Here is a little more about the book. We are also excited to be featured in the Interior Design section on page 370!!
“The Fashion Industry and Its Careers, 3rd Edition, offers an exploration of the fashion industry – from raw materials to marketing to the ultimate consumer – and explores fashion careers across the board. For each career covered, readers will learn about what to expect on the job, required education and training, and the relationship of the role to the industry as a whole. The third edition is fully updated with recent developments in technology, world economics and globalization and effects on industry sectors and career opportunities. Through current, applied industry information and personal assessments throughout, students gain a critical understanding of what careers match their aptitudes, skill sets, and interests – and how to begin down a path to a successful career in the fashion industry. “
Small spaces can be tricky and little overwhelming when trying to make the most of the space. When Ligne Magazine asked me to share a few tips on how to make the most of two compact spaces, I was ready to chat! Our client’s small off kitchen dining area and dark narrow entry were a bit of a challenge. But with a few creative moves, we were able to open both spaces up and create a space that our client’s were happy to show off!

Old Man Winter isn’t showing any signs of letting up this Winter. Although temperatures here in Texas have been in the 70s this past week, we are finally getting cooler temperatures…but it will be short lived. So while the chilly air makes it way into Dallas, I will be throwing a few logs in the fireplace! I love the smell of a wood burning fireplace & cuddling under my favorite faux fur blanket with my puppies. I’m sure most of us are ready for signs that Spring is on the way, but in the meantime here are a few of our favorite pieces to keep you warm!
Grey Velvet Chair | Blakewell Firescreen | Serpent Andirons | Metallic Cow Hide Rug | Hailey Lanterns | Julip Logs | White Faux Mink Throw | Landry Firescreen | Faux Mink Pouf | Faux Chinchilla Pillow | Dog Andirons
Loved seeing one of Pure Wow’s editors write up about Lash Maxx on their site today! Caroline received the perfect set of fluffy lashes from our client Claria recently. She of course gushed about how fabulous the experience was and gave Studio Ten 25 a shout out for the gorgeous space too! You can read all about Caroline’s visit to Lash Maxx’s new studio on PURE WOW!!
Here are a few of my favorite shots from the Lash Maxx Studio that will give you the overall feel. Not much better than black, white, gold and fuchsia accents!!! Of course we had to throw in a little leopard and a few feathers! Images via: Melanie Johnson Photography for Studio Ten 25

I always enjoy seeing the mix of pieces on everyone’s gift guides. I also love to see them organized in categories that fit each person that I am shopping for. And, when I spot a few pieces from our Shop that makes them even better. Here are a few gift guides that included a few pieces from The Shop! Happy Shopping everyone.
Denver Life Magazine included our Garland Candle Holder in their Deck The Halls feature this month. I love the mix of glitzy pieces that bring in that festive fell and how easily the pieces can transition into your home throughout the year.
One of my favorite gift guides is from Sarah Sarna! Her 40 Phenomenal Presents Gift Guide perfect sums up the best gifts for babies, book lovers, the fashionista and more!!! Our Tej Quilt from Pyar & Co made the cut!
Christmas will be here in a few short weeks and last minute gifts can be a challenge with big crowds, traffic and limited time on our hands. So I though I would share the perfect last minute gift that you can pick up online without having to deal with those fun challenges. Most of us just go out and buy something if we want it, so when someone asks you want you want for Christmas I have the perfect solution. If you read my blog, you know that Dwell With Dignity is very special to me. Their website, Jingle Dwell was a big hit last year and I love that there is a great option like this for gifting.
The Jingle Dwell Holiday Giving Tree provides a way for you to spread holiday cheer by transforming a house into a home for a deserving family. Each “ornament” on the Jingle Dwell tree represents an item needed for one of their homes.
For those of you who haven’t heard of Dwell with Dignity, they are a non-profit group of Interior Designers that partner with board-approved, social service agencies to identify and help families transition into self-sufficiency. Their role is providing and installing home interiors that include furnishings, art, bedding, housewares, kitchen supplies, and even a well-stocked pantry for housewarming day!
”Home for the Holidays.”
The phrase can mean something different for everyone. But for families struggling to escape hardship or poverty, “home” can mean little more than a mattress on the floor or a sheet tacked to the window as a curtain.
That’s where Dwell with Dignity comes in. Dwell With Dignity is a non-profit group of Interior Designers that partner with board-approved, social service agencies to identify and help families transition into self-sufficiency. Their role is providing and installing home interiors that include furnishings, art, bedding, housewares, kitchen supplies, and even a well-stocked pantry for housewarming day.
So there you have it! Easy online shopping that will help others have a wonderful Christmas!!
