One of my favorite gift guides for the Holiday seasons is finally out and it is FABULOUS!!! To & From Magazine has quickly become the go-to source for the perfect gift. Shop Ten 25 is excited to be involved with the magazine and to have so many of our pieces included throughout the gift guide. I also had the change to pull together a few of my favorite Rustic Chic gifts in the “For The Home” section too, you know I had to throw in gold leafed antlers!!
So if you are ready to get your shop on, this is one of the best one stop shopping pieces to cover everyone on your list this year.
I love finding a way to make a fabulous piece work with multiple looks. These days we all want our investment pieces to be versitile enough so that we can change out a few furniture pieces and accessories as we tire of them. I love this silk Monarch Fire rug from the new Alexander McQueen Collection at The Rug Company. The tonal reds make the for the “perfect red” color way and the kaleidascope butterfly pattern soften the bold color by adding a sophisticated yet whimsical feel.
Since red can be a color that takes over a room, I thought it would be fun to show off a few looks using furniture, art and accessories to help create a space around the piece.

Seeing others create amazing looks with Shop Ten 25 pieces always makes me happy. Recently, the gorgeous Maya from The MCB Project has been creating killer collages for her “Frame Of Mind” series we are blown away! Here is my favorite look, of course I am drawn to the bold color, chic graphics and that yummy yellow outfit!
I am so excited to see FOUR of Studio Ten 25′s bold & colorful projects featured in HGTV’s latest post! The fabulous Jeanine Hays from AphroChic (you can more of her colorful collection at Shop Ten 25 too!) pulled together 20 unique living room color palettes for her latest write up, and they are fabulous!!! It’s wonderful to be included with amazing designers like Thom Filicia, Emily Henderson & Fawn Galli!
Today I wanted to share a few more of the fun color blocking inspiration boards for the Silestone Trendspotting event that I was a part of for the Dwell on Design show. So here are a few more of the color blocking trends paired with one of our Studio Ten 25 projects and of course a dash of fashion that coordinates with quartz countertops from Silestone!
I recently created a few fun color blocking inspiration boards for the Silestone Trendspotting event that I was a part of for the Dwell on Design event. I love the color blocking trend that is happening right now so I thought it would be fun to pair one of our Studio Ten 25 projects with a dash of fashion and of course the coordinating quartz countertops from Silestone!
It is owned by the former creative director of de Gournay and his wife. They have taken historical motifs and updated them with brightness and wit, blending British classicism with London’s fashion scene. I love the chic and hip take on the classic looks and can see them appealing to the younger homeowner that love to mix new and old without looking frumpy.
With Father’s Day right around the corner, this fabulous feature in Southern Louisiana’s House and Home Magazine couldn’t have come at a better time. I love the Postcards from the world of design ”Greetings from Dallas, TX” and am so excited to see one of Studio Ten 25′s bachelor pads featured this month. A refined manly man’s open concept living space that looks super sophisticated and sleek was the goal. But in typical manly man fashion, there needed to be pieces that function and accessories that were not over the top and fussy.
A big THANK YOU to the lovely Rachel Lewis from SoHaus Interior Design for including me!
It’s finally official and I am super excited to announce that I have been selected as a SILESTONE TRENSPOTTER this year! I will be heading out to sunny LA in a few weeks to take in all that the DWELL ON DESIGN event offers and doing it with some pretty fab ladies too!!! Countertops, faucets, tile and tons of the latest kitchen gadgets will be on display! Between the fabulous speakers (The one and only Michael Graves!!), touring a few AMAZING show houses and hanging out with the Silestone group I know the inspiration factor will be over the top!
NEW YORK, NY (JUNE 2013) – Silestone (www.silestoneusa.com), a world leader in natural quartz surfacing, will re-ignite its popular Trendspotters program at Dwell on Design, America’s largest modern design event, which takes place June 21-23 in Los Angeles. This year, three new leading designers from across the country will become the 2013 Silestone Trendspotters — on the hunt for the latest products, design innovation and trends.
From inspiring color to creative patterns and innovative textures, together the Silestone Trendspotters will utilize their collective experience and keen eye for great design to instantly report on emerging trends and innovative products at Dwell on Design through their own blogs and social media channels as well as the Silestone digital platforms, using the hashtag#SilestoneTrends. The up-to-the-minute insight will allow other architects and designers who can’t attend to stay informed on the newest products and trends for their design projects. Additionally, consumers and design enthusiasts can get a sneak peak and join in the design conversation on the SilestoneTrendspotters.com where all #SilestoneTrends updates and insights will appear before, during and after Dwell on Design.
This year’s Silestone Trendspotters are renowned designers with distinct and compelling design aesthetics from three important U.S. markets: Chicago, Dallas and Sacramento.
Julia Buckingham Edelmann founded the full-service interior design firm Buckingham Interiors + Design, specializing in historic restorations and homebuilding in Chicago.
Kerrie Kelly is an award-winning interior designer and author who founded Sacramento-based Kerrie Kelly Design Lab in 1995. She has authored two books: Home Décor: A Sunset Design Guide, and the newly released My Interior Design Kit.
And me…Abbe Fenimore is the Dallas-based designer behind Studio Ten 25, combines vibrant colors, rich textures and her own special unique aesthetic to create stunning commercial and residential spaces. She also founded Shop Ten 25, a well-curated online store featuring accessories and designer furniture that she often uses in her own design and home.
